Suzanne Marie Russell (b. 1961, San Jose, California) is a multidisciplinary artist working in installation, painting, sculpture, digital media and written word. Her work ranges from poetic objects to political activism. She is based in Copenhagen and New York.

Russell received a Master of Fine Arts from San Francisco Art Institute (2019). She also has a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Wellesley College (1983) and a Juris Doctorate from New York University School of Law (1986). Russell has been a fellow at Cuban art activist Tania Bruguera’s Escuela de Arte Útil since 2018. She has been working with ceramic sculpture at Greenwich House Pottery in New York since 2017.
